Sometimes You Don't Get Another Shot
I took this shot from my porch. This composition caught my eye while I was getting my mail one day, and I thought, “That’ll be a nice shot with the right light.” I kept an eye out for the right conditions, and one evening everything looked good, so I got out my camera and tripod and shot the sunset. A week later that tree got cut down. I’m glad I got this picture when I did because it doesn’t exist anymore.
Nothing is permanent; there isn't always a later or a next time; take every shot you see.
