Winter Guest

A lot of my early wildlife photography was of ducks and geese. Every winter they migrate this way and populate the local parks. I especially like taking pictures of mallard drakes (males) because of how colorful and vivid they are. When the ducks migrated in this year I decided that I wanted to focus on getting a shot that was closer up to show as much of the details of the feathers as possible. This was no easy task because ducks can be very skittish, but with patience I was able to pull it off.

Just like the ducks migrating every year, time doesn’t stop for anyone or anything. Live your life. Take risks. Don’t put too much pressure on yourself, but do what you love. Bye for now.
