I went with a couple friends to visit Caprock Canyon and do some trail hiking for the day.
We chose one of the trails towards the bottom of the canyon. It was quite warm and a bit humid from recent rain, but the sky was overcast which kept the sun from beating down on us. As we were hiking we came across a winding pass that the rain water had recently washed through. I like the path that this created through the shot, and I’m a huge fan of the rough, rocky texture on the walls. Caprock Canyon was an interesting place. I really want to go back there to camp, stay longer, and explore more.
This month’s video is the first in a series that I’m calling “How I Did It” that looks at what goes into making an image. In this episode I go over some basic processing and simple focus stacking. Bye for now.
